Coping with Anxiety

A Sick Kids Website

During an internship with Sick Kids, I worked on character design, animation and UI concepts for a future website dedicated to teenage Mental Health. We focused on anxiety; producing assets for how to detect anxiety, warning signs, and coping strategies. The content was developed by clinicians and psychiatrists working with youths in Toronto.

The Breathing Box. A breathing technique designed by health care providers at Sick Kids to help patients relieve stress. This is one of many animations that would be hosted on a smartphone for easy access.

Anatomy Anthropomorphized. An interactive diagram of the brain anatomy involved in anxiety that has been personified to help patients better remember. This was included to help explain function and to explain that anxiety has a physical basis.
